Korte biografie over mijzelf
Mijn naam is Antoine Sijnesael, bouwjaar 1957 en woonachtig in het mooie Middelburg te Zeeland, bezig met fotografie
sinds mijn 12e jaar.
Uiteraard eerst volledig analoog en alle in en outs leren kennen van het foto en doka werk, volledig autodidact, met vallen en opstaan dus alles geleerd.
Ik ben jaren werkzaam geweest in de fotohandel, o.a. bij Foka Rotterdam en Kinorama te Dordrecht
Vanaf 2005, ik ging werken bij de Media marktMiddelburg op de fotoafdeling, kreeg ik de kans om voor een mooie prijs een digitale camera te kopen met alle toebehoren waarna het analoge materiaal dus de kast in ging!
Heden, 2015 pak ik toch weer vaak de analoge aparatuur en ga ik aan de slag met zwart/wit, kleuren of diafilm, waarvan ik het zwart/wit gedeelte zelf ontwikkel en daarna inscan, hybride dus.
Gebruikte analoge camera's zijn vooral Nikon en Olympus op kleinbeeld.
Voor middenformaat heb ik de beschikking over een Kiev 60 met diverse objectieven en een Mamiya 645 met diverse objectieven.
Regelmatig ging ik op pad met mijn, helaas in 2020 overleden vrouw, Aranka Sijnesael om te fotograferen in de stad voor straatfotografie of de mooie Zeeuwse natuur vastleggen.

Short biography about myself
My name is Antoine Sijnesael, built in 1957 and living in beautiful Middelburg in Zeeland, busy with photography since I was 12 years old.
Of course first fully analog and getting to know all the ins and outs of the photo and darkroom work, completely self-taught, learned everything by trial and error.
I worked for years in the photo trade, including at Foka Rotterdam and Kinorama in Dordrecht From 2005, I started working at the Media Markt Middelburg in the photo department
I got the chance to buy a digital camera with all accessories for a nice price, after which the analogue material went into the closet!
Today, since 2015 I often use the analog equipment again and I start working with black and white, color or slide film, of which I develop the black and white part myself and then scan it in, i.e. hybrid. Analog cameras used are mainly Nikon and Olympus on 35mm.
For medium format I have access to a Kiev 60 with various lenses and a Mamiya 645 with various lenses.
I regularly went out with my wife, Aranka Sijnesael, who unfortunately passed away in 2020, to photograph in the city for street photography or to capture the beautiful Zeeland nature.
